Exclusively designed triple-ply material provides superior heat conductivity and even heat distribution to meet the demands of gourmet chefs everywhere. Follow the use and care suggestions below to preserve and maintain cookware’s original beauty.

|
|
---|---|---|---|
ESSENTIAL PRECAUTIONSNever use Cuisinart Copper Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware on high heat. Food will burn. The triple-ply construction of this cookware is highly conductive and efficient for quick, even heat distribution. We recommend using a low to medium setting for most cooking. To boil water, medium-high is sufficient. Never leave Cuisinart Copper Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware or any pan empty over a hot burner. Doing so can ruin the pan and cause damage to the stove top. |
BEFORE USINGPlease remove the protective film from the exterior of the cookware. Wash your new cookware in hot water with a mild soap or dish detergent before using for the first time. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry immediately with a soft dish towel. |
EASY MAINTENANCEImmediately after each use, fill the pan with hot water and liquid dish detergent; let stand until lukewarm. Use a sponge or soft cloth to remove any remaining food particles. Do not use steel wool or other coarse metal pads that may make scratches. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately for a flawless finish. Cuisinart Copper Tri-Ply Stainless features oven-safe handles that can withstand oven temperatures up to 500°F. Caution should be used when handling any cookware handles and we recommend the use of potholders. To maintain the copper’s luster, use either a metal polish or homemade mixture of ½ cup white vinegar, ¼ cup table salt, and ¼ cup scouring powder. Rub the mixture over the copper with a cloth or nonabrasive scrubber, and rinse clean with hot water. Never use cleaners containing bleach to clean copper cookware. |
WHAT ABOUT THE DISHWASHER?We do not recommend Cuisinart Copper Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware be cleaned in the dishwasher. The abrasive cleaning agent will scratch and discolor the copper exterior. The stainless steel covers are dishwasher safe and will return to a mirror shine. Over a long period of time however, regular dishwasher cleaning may scratch the covers. We recommend using a non-lemon detergent. |
|
|
|
|
---|---|---|---|
WHAT ABOUT METAL UTENSILS?We recommend using plastic or wooden utensils with your Cuisinart Copper Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware. You may prefer using metal utensils. These may scratch the cooking surface, but will in no way impair the performance of your Cuisinart Copper Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware. You may use a hand mixer with metal beaters which can scratch the interior surface, but will not impair the cookware’s performance or its durability. |
TO REMOVE STAINSCalcium in your water may leave a multicolored stain. This is from a harmless deposit and can be removed with a little warm vinegar. Certain foods such as pasta or oatmeal may leave a light residue or cloudy appearance. This can be easily removed with any non abrasive cleaning product. |
TO REMOVE STUBBORN RESIDUEWhen food is burned in the pan, a stubborn black residue may remain. If soaking does not loosen it, add water to a depth of one inch in the pan, then add a tablespoon of dishwasher detergent (a non-lemon product). Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Let cool in the pan, then drain and rinse. Loosen the residue with a sponge or plastic spatula. Repeat if necessary. CAUTION: Detergent fumes can be irritating. Carry out this procedure under a hood with an exhaust fan or in a well ventilated room. |
COOKING OVER A GAS BURNERWhen cooking over a gas burner, make certain the flame touches only the pan bottom. If the flame comes up the sides of the pan, energy is wasted and the sides of the pan may become permanently discolored. IMPORTANT NOTE: Cuisinart Copper Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware has exceptionally high thermoconductivity, and even a low setting on some gas burners will overheat or even burn foods such as thinly sliced onions. An inexpensive gas flametamer placed between the burner and the bottom of the pot solves this problem. Flame-tamers are readily available at most hardware stores. |
COOKING TEMPERATURE IN OVEN
Cuisinart Copper Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware can be used in the oven without damage. Naturally, the handle as well as the pan will become hot. Use potholders to prevent burns. The cookware can be used in the oven at any baking temperature up to 500°F and can go from burner to broiler to table when placed on a heat-resistant trivet.
TO BREAK A VACUUM SEAL
The uniquely designed rims and covers form a perfect fit to reduce the evaporation of liquids. If you leave the cover on after turning the heat down or off, a partial vacuum may form, which will seal the lid to the pan. To break the seal, turn on the heat for a few moments, and the cover will come off easily. If you don’t want the lid to seal to the pan, remove the cover or set it slightly ajar before turning off the heat.
CONVENIENT STORAGE
A cookware rack or pegboard provides convenient, safe storage for your Cuisinart Copper Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware. Stacking and crowding in cabinets or drawers may cause scratches.
LIFETIME WARRANTY (U.S. & CANADA ONLY)
Your Cuisinart Copper Tri-Ply Stainless Cookware is warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal home use from the date of original purchase throughout the original purchaser’s lifetime. If your cookware should prove to be defective within your lifetime, we will repair it (or, if we think it necessary, replace it) without charge to you, except for shipping and handling. To obtain warranty service, please call our Consumer Service Center toll-free at 1-800-726-0190, or write to Consumer Service Center, Cuisinart 150 Milford Road East Windsor, NJ 08520.

Bar Keepers Friend. Home Depot. Comes in liquid or powder and 16oz? bottle is ab out 3 dollars. If you have copper you MUST have this to clean them. This set hangs from our pot rack in the kitchen... it is our second full set... They look amazing all the copper and we also have a copper milk can and fireplaced outer surround? covered in a copper so it all goes together and looks amazing.
Heats up quick, easy and nicely. DO NOT SLIDE on your range top or you will scratch the bottom. Pick up and move then set down again. Use a wooden spoon for anything and never metal or that will scratch and then the last thing to know is after each use... you really should wash it and then use the cleanser I told you about above.
HERES THE DEAL THOUGH. THE BKF... BAR KEEPERS FRIEND IS SO DAM EASY TO USE. WET A SPONGE OR WET A PAPER TOWEL. POOR THE BKF LIQUID I BUY... ONTO THE PAPER TOWEL AND WIPE IT ON AND BEFORE YOUR EYES WITH NO EFFORT AT ALL THE COPPER STARTS TO COME ALIVE. I DON'T WEAR GLOVES... MAYBE I SHOULD I DON'T KNOW BUT I DON'T AND NEVER HURT MY HANDS BUT COMES OFF SO EASY AND PUTS THE COPPER BACK TO THAT AMAZING SHINE. RINSE UNDER THE FAUCET AND THEN WHEN ALL OFF... DRY IT. I ALSO USE IT ON THE SS ON THE INSIDES AS WELL AS THE HANDLES. WOW!!! NO REALLY WOW!!! DOES IT CLEAN IT WELL.
So, we have two full sets of Cuisninart Copper sets... and we use them all the time. Not really a hassle to shine them up again after use... cause you will be cleaning them anyway. If you just use soap and water you will NOT get a nice shine like you want. They will not shine up. 3 bucks... this cleanser after each use... hang them back up and POW!!! Impact they look so good and amazing,.. we literally took pictures of them hanging because it looks so good. We love these pots and will not go back.
Some may get other copper pots but this is Amazing Quality. Sturdy, looks, function... everything. All is perfect. Now comes the one and only thing I don't like and I can see they did it to save money. The lid covers are not sturdy thick SS but kind of thin and will do the job but I would not say to you. QUALITY... I would say... it works but? You know? If they were thick and heavy and solid... Wow, this would be a complete amazing set but as it stands... still gets 6 stars.... or was it 7? One last thing. The BKF also works on water spots in bathrooms, porcelian, stainless steal... read the bottle... the stuff is amazing, truly and for 3 bucks... you can't go wrong. I don't work for them if anybody asks. You will see what I mean when you use it on the copper. You will see.
First, I have learned that no one pan does it all; for frying eggs I use ceramic or nonstick, for ham and beans I prefer cast iron. With that said these pans are great for most things and go from stove top to oven brilliantly.
If you goof (see photo) all it takes to clean up the inside is hot soapy water. If you really burn something badly just add warm soapy water, bring to a boil, turn off and allow to sit for 15 minutes--Easy Peezy!
As for the outside, I have a gas stove and the bottoms discolor. In doing my pre-purchase research I saw a recommendation for Wrights Copper Cream which I purchased and my family loves to see the before and after cleaning with the copper cleaner (see photo) that stuff is magic! I used it to polish a 25-year-old copper tea kettle that was completely tarnished and it looks like new. Be careful though and read the directions, you should wear gloves when using the polish. I don't wear gloves but when it comes into contact with a cut it burns like you wouldn't believe!
These pans do take a little bit of work in upkeep but they are not a two year and throw away set, they are made to last... so there’s always that. The handles do get warm and if you have the heat on high or for a long time they will get hot. Also, the lids get hot but you get used to working with a pot holder or a towel.
I would recommend this purchase, they are good quality and well worth the purchase price. I am very happy with them!
