I hate these clippers so much that I love them! I'm going to start with the end of my review first...I strongly recommend these clippers, AS LONG AS YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE BUYING! If you are use to using corded clippers, as I was, and you are looking for an equivalent cordless replacement, as I was, you may be very disappointed with these, as I was initially. When I first tried them, they did almost nothing! They didn't cut any hair! I was very disappointed as I pulled out my trusty 20 year old clippers that have never let me down.After I had cut my hair with those, I got curious. I pulled out these clippers and set them just a little shorter than my other clippers and ran them through my hair. I was amazed! They cut flawlessly. The problem with these clippers is that they just will not cut a lot of hair. If you have long hair and want to cut it short, these simply will not do it.If you just need to trim you hair, these are great. What I learned is that I always seem to let my hair grow too long between haircuts because it is such a chore to pull out and set up my clippers then put them all away. No longer! I now just pull these out and trim my hair very quickly every 1 - 2 weeks and they work perfectly. And as an added bonus, my hair is always kept manageable. These clippers have changed my life!

This is a great set of clippers. I was using a Wahl set that plugged in the wall, and really wanted something that is more mobile. This was a great replacement. The clippers have a decent speed that does not pull hairs and works great. Battery life is reasonable, I can usually get 2 or 3 cuts a couple of weeks apart out of it before recharging it. I liked the built in comb, however, it did feel like it could break if you didn't take care of it. I would have also liked the adjustable length of the comb to be labeled either with the measurement of the cut, or with a number like the wahl sets. I have used a rule of the first notch being a 1 and then up to 7. Additionally, when charging, this set has a high pitched whine to it, so I recommend charging it in the bathroom. Despite this minor inconvenience, I like this set of clippers and would definitely recommend this product.

Good & Affordable Replacement for Old Philips Hair Clipper

I've bought this to replace my old, now-defunct Philips Hair Clipper QC5050. Before first use, I charged it with the given cord set for 8+ hours as told by the given instructions. The cord set supports international voltage 110-240V so that is definitely a plus point. The plug is standard US 2-pin Type A, so you'll need an appropriate adapter if you need to use it in countries that do not support this type of plug.

My cutting need is simple and basic, and for that, this clipper fits the bill well. On first use, the motor is noticeably stronger and a bit louder than my old clipper. It cuts well and I have no problem so far. BTW, in cases when you need to use the clipper and the battery is flat, you can also connect it directly to the electrical outlet. I also like the color of this clipper more than my black-and-silver QC5050. It definitely looks more attractive. Let's hope it lasts as long as well. This clipper is washable too.

I won't mind paying a little more for a Lithium battery version, which would mean shorter charging time and each charge will last longer. Hopefully, an improved version will come in the future.

Different than other clippers that ive owned. The problem that ive had with other clippers is the cord is always a tangled mess and there us a risk of cutting it and electric shock. This one is recharchable, so safer and easier to use. Instead of a bag of atachments to lose there is one guide that the clippers adjust. A 2 on this model is closer than a 2 on the other type because its 2mm. I dont know if the other 2 is just a number or what it represents. And its my favorite color too :-)
I'm very happy with this one. To bad i haven't found an electric shaver with their brand.

If you take off the guard it gives a pretty clean shave on your face, and giving yourself a buzzcut in 15 minutes is pretty sweet. Battery definitely holds longer than the 40 minutes advertised. You can pay around $17 for your haircut every few months or pay it once and do it yourself. Highest recommendations.

It's not nearly that powerful. It takes multiple passes to get through my thick (ish) hair but overall I am still very satisfied. These are comfortable in either hand, have a good battery life, and do a good job trimming my hair so I don't have to go to the barber every other week. They are definitely for trimming and not shaving. Great value.

Bought these because they had the highest review on Amazon for hair Clippers. I have been cutting my own hair for over 5 years now and these are by far the worst I've ever used. The guard which is preattached, is made of cheap plastic and spreads when any small amount of force is used. If you apply any pressure when cutting your hair, the teeth on the guard spread open and the straight blade is exposed to your hair. I tried these once and the back of my hair was completely scalped. Jokes on me because I gave them a second chance after the hair had grown back and the exact same spot was completely scalped. I am honestly shocked that any good reviews of these exist. Even without the complete scalping the Clippers leave your head looking like a grass cut my a lawn mower and several different blade settings, completely patchy and uneven. Terrible terrible product.
