The hands tick in exact incraments and I haven't seen a single second lost so far. The indiglow works very well it'll soak up enough light to function for guite a while even if it isn't exposed to the brightest light that long.
The chronograph works very well not a single problem there.
Also IMPORTANT the second hand is not broken whatsoever. The standard second hand (the long skinny one) is not the true functioning one. It is actually the timers second hand. Which in my opinion adds some intrigue and in a way hilariousness to the watch because it's so out of the norm. Anyway the true second hand that ticks with every second it the smaller dial that also houses the day window.
I've read some problems with the bands being cheap or poorly made but mine is in great condition and wears perfectly for me
Last of all the only minor peeve I have is that there isn't an hour dial for the chronograph feature. I would have liked one but to be honest it wouldn't have seen much use, but I do like to have things like that for the rare just incase moments, and this specific designe not have a model that had that feature brings me down just a tiny bit but I can easily still live without the hour because the timer is constant even ever an hour has passed it'll just continue to go until you hit stop.
All in all this watch will not be leaving my person for years to come and I'm just that happy to say it.
Pros: (1) excellent chapter ring alignment, (2) good and consistent chronograph hands alignment, once corrected ex-factory. (3) appealing stepped dial design with unusual reddish-brown color offering a subtle sunburst effect in direct sunlight. (4) long battery life, very easily-changed battery. (5) perfect case polishing and finishing, nicely-done caseback laser engraving. (6) solid button and crown action. (7) bright lume. (8) face printing and font are clear, clean and well-aligned. (9) appealing and balanced face design. (10) wide band width (22mm) so it doesn't look wimpy like so many dress watches on their 20s or narrower. (11) rides comfortably and looks right on my 185mm (7.25") wrist.
Cons: (1) lugs hardly curve down, so it wears wider than it should. (2) Alignment of sub-dial hands can be a bit hit-or-miss: you will almost certainly have to adjust the chronograph subdial's seconds hand, if not the large chronograph's seconds hand as well. (3) lower subdial (running seconds) is also iffy with regard to alignment. (4) Mediocre accuracy. I have two other SNN variants in addition to this watch, and they all run about ½ to 1 second slow per day. (15 to 30 seconds slow per month). Casios never run worse than 15 seconds off a month.
Overall: if you can get it cheap (around $100 or less), go for it. But don't expect perfect out of the box hands alignment or stellar accuracy.
I selected this particular Seiko recently because as a frequent traveler myself, I was looking for an Aviator watch to pay homage to Howard Hughes. Something to wear when I’m flying in Khakis and a button down, when I don’t want to sport my more pretentious gold dress watches. This watch has a beautiful brown face that goes well when dresses in earth tones, and the brown leather band is certainly intended for a man of action. The face is very sharp and easy to read, even after sitting in the United club and downing numerous stiff drinks. When the cabin is dark for sleeping, the numbers light up and are perfectly legible. This timepiece does its job when you’ve got to know when a waitress gets off work, or when a stewardess has to leave your hotel room to catch her morning flight. The chronometer comes in handy for timing your wheels up to wheels down sprints cross country.
While I don’t think this watch will knock anyone’s socks off, I must say that isn’t the reason to buy a watch like this anyway. For the purchaser of these timepiece, it will no doubt be one of many in their collection and come in handy for certain situations and outfits. Only real men need apply this timepiece to their wrists.

-The Global Store experience was not the best, took more than it needed to reach me. The product landed in Bangalore a few days after placing the order, then was flown to Gurgaon, where it was lying in their warehouse for a week, and then shipped via surface transport back to Bangalore and was finally delivered, nearly a month after placing the order, by Aramex which turned out to have terrible service in India. Also some issues with the ID proof. The global store customer service team were polite and helpful though.

Je crois qu'il faut juste prier que tout se passe bien... Il faut éviter de mettre qu'il y a une garantie alors qu'il n'y en a pas!
